Rental Terms & Conditions

Payment

Payment for the rental service must be made on delivery of the vehicle, either in cash or using any of the major credit cards (Visa and MasterCard).
 
If payment is being made in cash, a deposit of €500.00 must be paid. The rental rate applied is guaranteed, for ongoing rentals, until the scheduled return date as shown in the rental letter.

Taxes

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at 20%, unless otherwise specified.

Fuel

The customer is liable for the fuel consumed. If the tank is full when the vehicle is delivered and empty when returned, the customer will be charged not only for the cost of fuel but also for the cost of the refuelling service (€12.00).

Minimum age for rental

Customers must be 21 years of age or over, with a valid Category B licence issued at least one year ago. The vehicle rental service is not available to those under 21 years of age.

Super CDW (SCDW)

The optional Super CDW cover exonerates the driver from liability for damage to the vehicle, thus eliminating the policy excess. The excess can be eliminated by signing up for Fully Comprehensive insurance at a cost of €10.00 for groups A-B-C and €15.00 for groups E-F-G. Fully Comprehensive insurance does not, however, cover damage to the wheels, the undercarriage or the interiors.

Delivery and collection

Delivery and collection of the vehicle within the city limits is included in the price. To have the vehicle delivered or collected elsewhere, please request more information from our office.

Extension of the rental period

Customers wishing to prolong the rental period beyond the scheduled return date must inform the rental office as soon as possible to allow the insurance cover to be extended.

Loss of documents and key damage

The loss of the vehicle's documents will result in a fine of €300,00. The loss, damage or theft of the vehicle's keys will result in a fine of €110,00.

Child safety seat

The cost for a child safety seat shall be € 8,00 for the first day and € 3,00 per day thereafter.
